Overall, it was very expensive in Calabria. But we still enjoyed it. There are some exciting villages in the hinterland with ancient architecture and the food tasted very good everywhere. There are some beautiful beaches in the region and Tropea is a really nice town with an old town center. Take a rental car and just drive around freely.
