We spent the entire stay in Calvi. We used a rental car to get around the entire island. Despite the existing roads and the size of the island, you can expect longer driving times, even for shorter distances.
Bastia, the capital of Corsica, is definitely worth a visit.
We mostly ate in local restaurants or catered and cooked for ourselves in our accommodation. We liked the hidden beaches best.
We arrived by plane from Vienna.
What we would definitely do differently would be the length of our stay, as the one week was definitely too short for us.

As we were traveling by car with a roof tent, we pretty much circumnavigated the island. Driving through the mountains takes a long time, but is great fun and the views are amazing. We really liked Bonifacio as a small town. On our next trip we would go a little later to hope for better weather, but we will definitely be back.
Highligts
A mega beautiful overwhelming landscape with fantastic beaches and turquoise sea. Hiking to pools and small villages.
Hidden gems
Bonifacio is definitely worth a visit for a little shopping. The pools in the mountains are a must.
Destination recommendation
I would recommend Cosika because the beaches blew me away how beautiful they were.
Pros
The sea
White dream beaches
Cons
The weather was unstable
Lots of rain in June
