I was in Trogir with my girlfriend and we can highly recommend it for a short trip. It's a small but very beautiful town. The surroundings are very nice, as the town is right by the sea, has a beautiful promenade and the mountains can be seen in the background. The view of these surroundings is very good from the walls of Kamerlengo Castle. The view is worth the €5 entrance fee per person. Everything is also within easy walking distance. One disadvantage is the narrow streets, which are sometimes very difficult to walk through due to the high level of tourism. In my opinion, the city is also ideal for a day trip or short break. It would be a little too monotonous for a longer vacation.
